Jeni Castro is the founder and CEO of Bronzed Bunny — an airbrush and sugaring salon that first started in the trunk of her car. Fast forward 8 years later, and it's a thriving business with 6 locations across the country, 6 franchises in the pipeline, and no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

Since becoming the youngest freelance artist at one of the world’s largest beauty corporations, Jeni Castro has been fascinated by the beauty industry. As a massage therapist, bartender, and eyelash extension applicator, Castro was known for having the “trunkful of businesses” early on in her career. It wasn’t until she added spray tanning to the mix that she knew she was on the brink of something massive. She’s now the founder and CEO of Bronzed Bunny, a hugely successful airbrush and sugaring spa. 

Before opening her first location, Bronzed Bunny was one of the very first mobile tanning services. Castro was driving from client to client until her business grew, and this was no longer sustainable. She opened her first location in 2011 with only a couple thousand dollars in her bank account. She worked from 9 am to 9 pm every day and loved every minute of it. “I ate, slept, and breathed Bronzed Bunny. Fast forward 8 years and I have 6 locations, 6 franchises in the pipeline, and we’re all over the country.”
