VELO X TOMORROWLAND WINTER PRIZE DRAW - Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the VELO X TOMORROWLAND WINTER PRIZE DRAW 2025 (the “Promotion”) (the “Terms”).

1. The Promoter of this Promotion is British American Tobacco (UK) Limited, Building 7, Chiswick Business Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, England, W4 5YG (“BAT”). By entering this Promotion, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms.
    
2. The Promotion is only open to entries from UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 and over.
    
3. The following are not eligible to participate:
   
   (a) employees of BAT or of any British American Tobacco plc group company; or
   
   (b) employees or any other persons involved or assisting with this Prize Draw or otherwise professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration (including but not limited to, any person responsible for redemption of prizes or for supplying prizes for the Promotion).
    
4. The Promotion for the Tomorrowland Winter Experience Prize Draw (the "Prize Draw”) opens at 10:00 on 10th January 2025 and closes at 17:00 on 9th February 2025 (the “Prize Draw Period”). There will be one (1) prize draw which will take place on 13th February 2025 and one (1) winner will be selected in accordance with the process described in paragraph 12.
    
5. Entries to the Prize Draw can only be made directly through the Velo.com e-commerce site: https://www.velo.com/gb/en. To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must reveal 3 butterflies in a line on the digital tile. Once the entrant reveals 3 butterflies in a line, the entrant will be immediately directed to the personal information form that must be completed for the entrant to be included in the Prize Draw. These sections include:
   
   (i) First name
   
   (ii) Last name
   
   (iii) Date of Birth
   
   (iv) Email Address
   
   (v) Acceptance of the Prize Draw’s Terms and Conditions
   
   (vi) Acceptance of BAT’s Privacy Policy.
   
   (b) The entrant will also have the option to provide access to further optional information if they should decide to. These sections include:
   
   (i) Phone number
   
   (ii) Instagram handle
    
6. The Prize Draw is limited to one (1) entry per person and no purchase is necessary.
    
7. BAT reserves the right to validate any claim and may ask for proof of identity and/or age at any point. BAT accepts no liability for any delays to or prevention of an entrant from participating in the Promotion by exercising its right to validate the identity and/or address and/or age of an entrant.
    
8. All entries must be made directly by the person entering a relevant Prize Draw. Entries made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed and all such entries will be disqualified. BAT is not responsible for changes in entrants' details. This includes: Instagram handle, email address, phone number after entering a Prize Draw.
    
9. There will be one (1) prize which includes:
   
   9.1. The Prize includes:
   
   (a) A 4 night stay (double room only) at the Grandes Rousses, Alpe D-Huez; between 18th March 2025 and 22nd March 2025.
   
   (b) Two (2) General Admission tickets granting 3-day access to Tomorrowland Winter 2025 on 19th March, 20th March, and 21st March 2025.
   
   (c) Return Transfer to and from Grenoble Airport OR Lyon Airport by shared coach.
   
   (d) Return economy class flights to Grenoble OR Lyon from a major UK airport (such as London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham or Edinburgh). Flights from other UK airports are not included. The Promoter will determine the departure airport based on availability and convenience.
   
   9.2. The Prize excludes:
   
   (a) Spending money;
   
   (b) Meals and drinks;
   
   (c) Additional hotel expenses (e.g. Mini bar, room service, or additional nights);
   
   (d) Expense for food and drink;
   
   (e) Tax or personal expenses;
   
   (f) Travel insurance and travel expenses;
   
   (g) Visa and travel documents;
   
   (h) Other activities and any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and any costs that are incidental to the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
    
10. If for any reason the winner decides not to take up part of the Prize (e.g. flights or transfers) they must inform the Promotor as soon as possible in writing. Once the winner has confirmed this, they cannot change their mind or request reinstatement of that part of the Prize. Unused elements of the Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other alternative. It is the responsibility of the winner and their guest to ensure that they have valid travel documents including passport with sufficient validity, visas and any other documents required for international travel. The Promoter will not be liable or responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to the winner’s failure to meet these requirements, or if the winner cannot participate due to incorrect, missing, or expired travel documents, or any other circumstances preventing participation.
     
11. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and any costs that are incidental to the prize are the responsibility of the winner. There is no cash alternative and the Prize are not transferable or exchangeable. BAT reserves the right to replace any part or all of the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond BAT control makes it necessary to do so.
     
12. Entries must be received by BAT by no later than 17:00 on 9th February 2025. Entries made outside of the Prize Draw Period will not be accepted.
     
13. The winner for the Prize Draw will be the first entry selected at random from all valid entrants received by 17:00 on 9th February 2025. The draw will be made from all valid entries at random via a computer programme producing a verifiably random draw.
     
14. The winner will be notified by 13th February 2025, firstly via email. If the winner/s don’t reply to such email; the Promoter may attempt to contact the winner/s via the phone number or Instagram handle (only if provided at the time of entry). Entrants who have entered the Prize Draw and have not won a Prize will not be notified.
     
15. In order to redeem the Prize the winner will need to respond to the email, or direct message direct message sent by BAT and provide a postal address in the UK to which their Prize can be sent, or the Prize may be sent via an e-ticket format to the given email address. The winner will be allowed 72 hours from the time of the initial notification to respond and provide the requested information. Please check your email including spam folder, text messages, and Instagram direct, messages carefully to ensure that you do not miss a message from Velocompetitions@bat.com or the Velo.unitedkingdom Instagram page.
     
16. If the winner does not provide the required information to BAT within 72 hours of notification, then the winner shall forfeit their Prize and BAT shall be entitled to award the Prize to an alternative winner in accordance with the process described in paragraphs 14 and 15 above.
     
17. BAT reserves the right to review, edit, alter or remove any entry in its sole discretion, which does not comply with these Terms or which it reasonably believes does not comply with these Terms.
     
18. BAT reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct, or if, in its reasonable opinion, it considers that there is a significant risk that the entrant may bring the BAT or any other British American Tobacco plc group company brand into disrepute.
     
19. BAT reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend each Prize Draw or the Promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so. BAT shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
     
20. No responsibility will be accepted by BAT for incomplete, invalid or illegible entries and these will be declared void in the sole discretion of BAT.
     
21. The Prize Draw and the Promoter's Instagram pages are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Tomorrowland. By entering the Prize Draw, entrants release Instagram from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Prize Draw.
     
22. BAT will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection or other charges incurred in entering the Prize Draw or in a winner using or enjoying a Prize. If using a computer or any other device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant, the entrant is reminded to get the owner's permission before entering.
     
23. BAT does not guarantee continuous uninterrupted access to the VELO.com e-commerce Page at any time. It is possible that numerous factors outside the control of BAT may interfere with the operation of the platform. No responsibility will be accepted for any technical or other difficulties in entering or any entries delayed or corrupted.
     
24. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
     
25. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed as set out in https://www.velo.com/gb/en/privacy-policy. Please also see paragraph 27 in relation to BAT’s obligations with regards to the announcement of winners.
     
26. Any enquiries about personal information held by BAT, including any request for deletion of personal data, may be made by contacting Velocompetitions@bat.com to obtain the contact name and address to which to send an envelope marked "Data Protection Request".
     
27. BAT must either make available information that indicates that a valid award under this Promotion took place and so BAT will send the surname and county of all of the winners of this Promotion to anyone who contacts BAT using the details in paragraph 25 requesting such information within one month of the date of the Prize Draw.
     
28. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being made available, please contact BAT via Velocompetitions@bat.com. In such circumstances though BAT must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
     
29. These Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
